Here is OY Another Polish Joke! layered over the cremes from the EuroCentrale Collection. I am still thinking if I should get it. On it's own, it doesn't appeal to me, but magic happens when it is applied over cremes. 

I love the look over My Vampire is buff (4th from the left), it creates a rather elegant look yet subtle look. Also, it has a matte finish if you don't put top coat. Perfect with gold or silver glitter on top of it too.

I'm in love with gradient manicures right now. So here's another one for the sharing. 

It was done with OPI Golden Eye with China Glaze's Cheers to You.

If you don't have that china glaze polish, OPI's Glitzerland would also work I think. I love the flakey look of golden eye.

Another reason for getting OPI Golden Eye? It's because I wanted to do a classic leopard print mani and I think GoldenEye would make a perfect base. Here's a sample:

This was done with OPI Legs Celebrate (which I think is discontinued), so Golden Eye would be a good replacement. One polish, two uses. The brown dots was done using ZOYA's Cola

Zoya is one of the best nail polish brands out there, most of their cremes are outstanding in terms of shine and finish, they do great glitters as well but I love their jelly finishes too. Not alot of major polish companies do jelly finishes. But Zoya has a few that caught my eye. Especially having spotted the following gradient jelly manicure, I'm sold. 

Isn't this pretty? Gradients are easier to do with jelly finishes as their edges are not as sharp and obvious as cream finishes. Perfect to do french jelly tips as well and a swipe of glitter polish concludes it perfectly.

She did the circles freehand, I am thinking of using some kind of circle shapes then "stamp" the rings as I am not confident of doing the circles freehand. But she's done an amazing job. Looks like A Woman's Praguative is a must buy! EEEEK.

Okay, for those who are uncomfortable with seeing toe nails, please do not read this post.

With that being said, let's marvel at the beauty of this tri-colored pedicure I did on the spur of the moment yesterday. I think it is pretty nice, don't you? Of course, this was pre-clean up, I was already quite tired, so decided to leave the clean up for today.

I have so many more inspiration/ideas for nail art, but my fingernails are pretty short at the moment, so when it grows longer, I'll start :) Watch out for this space. 

Also, I am in the midst of looking into creating my very own indie brand, as far as I know, there is at most one or two Singaporean owned indie brands, not alot. I am hoping to create my own nail polishes, so yes, pretty excited for that. 

As you can see, my right foot wasn't done so well, I might go and repaint the right foot. But I like how it turned out for the left one. I love the color combination though.

Catrice - something peach, can't remember at the moment. (The coral/neon)
My own franken color - Lime Up! (The lime green)
My own franken color - In Clear Waters (The Turquoise green)

I was at BHG yesterday and I swatched Polka.com and it was instant love at first swatch. Paired with the You're Such A Budapest, I'm in heaven. I kid you not. Since I haven't gotten my hands on it, but soon will as soon as the OPI spree closes, I will do a more in depth review. But first,

If I am not wrong, this collection is not part of the permanent line too, so once it's gone, it's gone. I'm doing pre-order for this collection + the oz collection. Spree details coming up, wait for it. 

I'm going to get two bottles of polka.com, it's an essential, goes so well with the other colors in this collection + it's good to do a sandwich with the softshades from the oz collection. What do I mean by sandwich? Okay, I know it's not a new things anymore, and most of you, or all of you have heard of the Mariah Carey Liquid Sands collection. Out of them, I love Stay the Night the most and as I have done a post on it below. It's stunning for sure. I am also in love with Get Your Number, but that bright blue don't suit me. So as tempted as I am to get it, I am still on the fence about it. 

And yes, with it being limited edition, I better make a decision soon, and fast, before it runs out. It happened with It's a trapeze and Stay the Night but I am pretty lucky with both, but not so much so for OPI Merry Midnight which will forever be my regret. Anyways, moving on, I just thought the beauty of the liquid sands would be worth of a post on it's very own. So here it is. Regardless the number of times I have seen it, their beauty always astouned me, it's amazing how OPI's R&D deparment manage to develop them. 

Get Your Number. 

You see what I meant? The beauty of this blue is unrivalled. 

The Impossible

What I love about this is that it has a jelly-ish like look. So when I do gradient nails, it'd be perfect. 

Can't let go.

It looks so amazing with the topcoat. It's as if the topcoat acts like a glass, with so much depth going on underneath it.

To be honest, Stay the night with topcoat is 10x more amazing than the pictures could ever do justice. Seriously, I swatched it at BHG and am wearing it now on one finger and I can't express my love for it. 

I saw the Mariah Carey nail polishes, but didn't get it. Now I'm regretting it big time as most places are out of stock for liquid sands. See the pattern with It's a Trapeze. Luckily I managed to secure two bottles :) It's $11.50, after postage it was $12.50. But comparing it to BHG, which sells for $20, I'd say that I had a good deal. 

I love OPI Stay the night. Reason? I swatched it and it dried reasonably fast. Second, it has a dual look, either you leave it plain for a unique texture/look or pair it up with a topcoat and the shine is amazing. I would compare it to Deborah's Lippman's Ruby Red Slippers. If you cannot lay your hands on Deborah Lippman's Ruby Red Slippers or Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance, I would say that Stay the night is a close contender. It has the same black with a glitter like the rest. 

I mean just look that the difference with and without topcoat. Worlds apart, yet stunning nonetheless.
